Gencon 2013 Goodies

So, I did forget one of my freebies. Always do, no matter how hard I try.

Middle I got a free d6 for going to one of their booths and then bought the rest of the set to go with it because well 2013 and PURPLE! Next, right side. I was very surprised to find out that Midnight Syndicate was there, I picked up one of their albums last year around Halloween at a local Halloween store, and I really REALLY liked it. So I about fell over when I saw them there. I got a photo of the booth as well and ended up picking these two up. I can't wait to listen to them.

Left side and upper. First button is my Volunteer one for this year, every year they do a different shape (though I'm sure they are running out to choose from). Then the other buttons relate to the bands above, I did 3 runs through the TD this year. Two in Golembane and one in Lycans Afoot. Left early weds morning, the drive there was somewhere in the 4-5 hours, I don't remember doing terribly much in the car other than listening to my music.  We stopped to eat which was very nice.  And got in I think it was about 1:30pm.  He had about a 30-40 minute wait before they could move their vehicle to unpack and set up in the dealer's room.  I helped until about 15 before 5, then rushed off to go do TD (TRUE DUNGEON) stuff.  They had moved it from Hall D to Hall B and I didn't know that, I think they didn't either.  Luckily I can he fast on my feet.  I talked to a guy in front of Hall D and he said to go to room 120 and that I needed a badge as well as a wrist band.  Okay...weird...I got to the room and found out that was for DnD stuff, but the person that was in there before had been sent to Hall B.  Okay, rushed down there It was very exciting! Perfect for those that like DnD or fantasy and the possibility of dressing up and becoming character for about 2 hours.

Also not pictured here, my TD tokens, this year my collection exploded, to the point I will be giving them out at some of the anime cons I go to. This weekend coming up is Matsuri, so, stop by, buy something, you may get a token.
